Baking with Brotherly Love

 We are 9-year-old twin brothers who have been baking for the past 4 years.  We love to bake cakes, pies, brownies and cookies. But we enjoy eating our creations even more!  We like to challenge ourselves and come up with creative baking ideas   

Lev has taken multiple cooking and baking classes through Zingerman's Bakehouse, Sur La Table and the Huntington Woods Rec Center. Lev’s favorite of his baking creations is the cinnamon coffee cake he made for his own 9th birthday.      

The joy of baking for Simon is centered around the time he spends with his brother and family in the kitchen.  Simon is a chocoholic and has a very big sweet tooth.  Simon’s favorite of his baking creations is the chocolate babka he often makes for family. Babka is a sweet, braided bread filled with fudgy chocolate and cinnamon in layers.
